Subject Tee
They say time heals. That if you wait long enough, the weight will soften, the scars will fade. But time doesn’t carry you — pain does. Pain stays. It reminds you of what broke, and what you chose after it broke. It doesn’t lie, it doesn’t cover, it doesn’t let you pretend. Pain teaches in a language you can’t ignore.
That’s why it feels truer than time. Because at least it’s real. At least it stays. At least it forces you to face yourself, even when no one else cares. In the end, I am the architect of my own destruction. Not because I sought it, but because every scar I carry is also the blueprint of who I’ve become.
In pain we trust, not because we want it, but because it never leaves.
